Delete your Pic My Plate account

Pic My Plate is developed by Nicolas Cabrera. You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. Open Pic My Plate and go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us from the address linked to your account:

nichocabrera@gmail.com

Subject: “Pic My Plate account deletion request”. We verify the request against the account email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials, including Sign in with Apple or Google links.
  • Your profile: name, username, email address and phone number.
  • Your scan history, saved menus, dish ratings and restaurant ratings.
  • Your friend connections, activity feed entries and likes.
  • Push-notification tokens for your devices.
  • Your subscription record with our billing provider (RevenueCat).

What may be kept

  • Menu and dish photos you contributed to a restaurant's shared menu are detached from your identity and may remain as anonymous content, so other diners can still see that menu.
  • Records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, kept only for as long as the law requires.
  • Purchase records held by Apple or Google under their own policies. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions before deleting.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can remove your synced contacts at any time from Settings → Privacy → Contacts Sync, and withdraw any like or rating from the item itself. To have specific data removed while keeping your account, for example a particular scan, menu or photo, email nichocabrera@gmail.com describing what to delete. We handle these within 30 days as well.
